ACE Foundation is sponsoring 2022 Summer Essay Writing Contest for students in middle schools and high schools all across the United States.
Essay topic: the importance and the value of having Washington State to officially recognize January as Americans of Chinese Descent History Month.

Contest results will be announced, and award ceremony will be held on September 30th, 2022.
Top 3 winners will be selected for each grade group. Here are the awards for winners of each group:

**Note: The 3 winners in Middle School group are not ranked. Each of them will be awarded $75 equally.
In addition to those awards, ACE will select the best essay from all groups and use it as a petition letter to Washington State Legislature to promote the bill for establishing January as Americans of Chinese Descent History Month. The participant whose essay gets selected as petition letter will get an additional $200 prize.
