Speech Contest

Thank you to all participants, who all submitted high quality presentation and essays. We are pleased to announce final rankings of Chinese History Month speech contest based on combination of results from public vote, presentation expert evaluation and content , with extra points for being referred to legislators. Certificates and awards will be presented, and a zoom session will be held in a few weeks. Congratulations!

Washington State SB 5264, declaring January as Chinese American history month, just passed in the committee unanimously. ACE Foundation is pleased to sponsor our first Chinese history month speech contest, any content written by the presenter pertaining to Chinese American is welcome, 2 minute limit. We have age appropriate segments for adults, college students, high schoolers, middle schoolers and elementary students, top 3 from each segment get certificates and award. Please submit your article, video clip or link to admin@acefus.org with name, grade, city/state and phone number by March 8th, with a subject line containing “ACEF Chinese History Month Speech Contest”, ACEF reserves the rights of publishing none, any or all portion of each submission.
